Our principal Pinalta vineyard boasts an excellent growing location, near Pinhão - cima corgo– Douro, with highly terraced slopes above the river below, at concelho de Alijó.

With 20 hectares planted (just half of the property), the natural terrior provides us with grapes with very specific characteristics that cannot be found in any other place. Key aspects like average elevation of 250m, solar exposure, xistous soil, slope of the soil and good drainage, the Douro river’s proximity (500m distant), the varieties planted and the personal attention all contribute of our exceptional grapes.
